DiverseCity Surveyors' - Meet & Mingle, August 2017

After yet another successful gathering of 'future talent / leaders' I felt compelled to share the photos / memories of the event held last week [24/08/17], as assembled by Alexander Smith, MRICS.

It was an eventful evening of discussion and laughter and was the final DiverseCity Surveyors (DCS) Meet & Mingle prior to the formal launch event of 'the first BAME Network for Surveyors'. The event itself, is due to be held during Black History Month [October 2017] and will be gratuitously hosted by the RICS Equalities Team and other RICS I&D Champions, over at RICS HQ in Parliament Square, London.

The uniqueness of the DCS Network is that the focus is and always will be, on the needs 'of the individual' and not the corporate / employer. After all, true inclusion and diversity affords the individual to bring their 'whole' being to the workplace and succeed in their professional pursuits; this is what the DCS launch event is seeking to highlight and promote.
